When is a Dream a Fear and When Is It a Prophecy?
Dreaming of Fear, Prophetic Dreams Dreams, interpreting your bad dreams, learn what they mean! Find out now FREE! Almost everybody has had the experience of a dream coming true, whether or not it was the happy dream of meeting a new friend or getting a job. Sometimes though, these dreams are also about a death or personal catastrophe. If you have ever had one single dream come true, you might be wondering if it is possible for that dream to come true again.

Psychics say that everybody is able of having a prophetic dream and that it is a matter of “tuning in.” Our minds are like receivers that can tune into certain “channels” and access information from the collective conscious which is like a mass residual pool that contains information from both the past and the future.

Taking a psychic development class, or meditating, or experimenting with oracular devices such as the Tarot, often activate our dormant psychic ability, manifesting most readily in the ability to dream prophetically. Generally, dream content is very symbolic and difficult to read. However, when we begin to open up psychically, the dream content becomes much more literal, with dream scenes identical to forthcoming events.

Dreams that foretell of a death are the most common of all. We are linked by cords of psychic energy that extend out from the heart. These cords are strongest to the people, animals, and places to which we fell the closest.

There is a theory that most of us do not open ourselves up to dreaming about the future because the truth is that we really do not want to know about it. We fear it. In fact, most of the things we dream about make us even more anxious because we dream of things that are symbolic of our anxiety.

If you want to learn how to dream in a prophetic way, you might want to investigate the idea of “incubating dreams.” Western dream incubation can be reduced to the simple act of asking a question before bed and expecting an answer by morning. By writing the question down in a dream journal or placing the question on a dream altar, we give our intention form and increase the likelihood of getting an answer.

The true key to success is the question that you ask yourself before you fall into the mysterious realm of your personal dreamworld. The question must be one to which you are truly willing and ready to hear the answer. It need not be about the future but more about insight into a current situation or relationship, or even answers to unresolved issues from the past. When we tap our dreams to look into the future, however, we trust our intuition and the angelic energies or higher powers that guide us. We are trusting that the information we receive through our dream oracle will be for our best to know. Simply affirming that will we dream solely about the truth before going to sleep will often allow fear to take a back seat in our minds and reality and the prophetic answers to appear.
